Katherine Aponte

Contracts Administrator

Katherine Aponte is Celestar Corporation’s Contracts Administrator. She is responsible for the full lifecycle of contracts management, oversight, compliance, and the quality organization to further the company’s business goals. Ms. Aponte is dedicated to continuous improvement and problem-solving, leveraging technologies, and obtaining maximum efficiency to produce cost savings in rapidly evolving markets and industries.

Ms. Aponte is an accomplished operations manager, business analyst, contracts manager, bookkeeper/controller with over 7 years of experience in the government contracting space, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, government contract regulations, and contract/grant requirements. Prior to joining Celestar, Ms. Aponte was the Controller/Business Manager of SOFWERX as well as the owner of KDLA Consulting, LLC, providing government contract support to USSOCOM SOF AT&L and the DoD.

Ms. Aponte earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in International Business and Italian from Florida State University.

In her spare time, her passions include spending time with her family traveling to various destinations to boogie board, fish (both saltwater and freshwater), and hike the Appalachian trail.
